A Facebook Business Page is still required for Meta ads, Instagram shopping, and many integrations. Here's a no-frills setup.
The steps
- Step 01
Create the Page
facebook.com/pages/create β fill in name, category, description. Use your real legal or DBA name.
- Step 02
Add profile and cover photos
Profile: 170Γ170, ideally your logo. Cover: 820Γ312, a real photo of your space or product.
- Step 03
Pick a Page template
Templates control which tabs and buttons appear. Pick 'Business', 'Restaurants & CafΓ©s', or 'Services' based on your model.
- Step 04
Set your call-to-action button
Book Now, Call, Shop Now, Sign Up. Pick the one action you most want.
- Step 05
Claim a vanity URL
Settings β Username. facebook.com/yourbusinessname is more shareable.
- Step 06
Add your full business info
Hours, phone, email, address, website. Fill every field.
- Step 07
Invite friends and existing customers
Page β three dots β Invite friends. One-time push to get your first 50 likes.
- Step 08
Publish 3β5 posts before you promote
An empty Page hurts conversion. Post photos, an intro, and a few customer highlights first.
